This technology is designed to be seamlessly integrated into most full-face and 3/4 helmets that have been up until now exclusively designed to mitigate head trauma after an accident has occurred.
This affordable safety device can be easily integrated into manufacturers’ production lines and readily available to motorcyclists worldwide.
RESONAR‘s™️ bat-8D™️ technology is a product that is both easy and cost-efficient to produce and implement for manufacturers while improving rider experience and reducing road incidents in commuting and competitive environments. In the moments before a road incident, the location of a source of sound (i.e., oncoming traffic), including calculating its distance in a three-dimensional environment in real-time, can be decisive in avoiding it.
A full-face and 3/4 helmet with RESONAR® technology is an acoustic and low-cost solution that offers 360 degrees of perception and spatial awareness with various possible applications. Implementing this technology in full-face and 3/4 helmets would improve many levels of the traditional helmet without significantly increasing production costs. More importantly, it would lead to a radical decrease in accident and mortality rates.
The ear, in combination with the sense of sight, smell, and touch, permanently accompanies our connection with the world, much less so when we drive a motorcycle with a traditional full-face and 3/4 helmets.
